Perfect value for a great location for an overnight in Rome

This place was exactly what it is a described to be. An affordable budget room in a good location in Rome. Honestly the host of the place was so kind and friendly, the room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the shower was nice. This is all we need for a quick stay in Rome. It was basic and efficient and a 5 minutes walk from the train station. I have no complaints what so ever about the value for the price.

Close to Roma station easy to drop of bags and explore straight away. Staff really friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags after checkout. Apartment was clean.

great lodging location, less than 10 min walk to termini and the next door Chinese restaurant offers great foods

owners were very friendly and provided us with a map and details of routes for our visit. We followed and walked to all except Vatican City. We had a great visit.

the shower in our room is small like a RV shower.

Comfortable, well located and very friendly.

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout - we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we explored for the day on the last day and also being able to bring our bikes upstairs one night. Good value for money and enjoyed the breakfast. Also very helpful to have extra towels on the day that we went to the beach. Room and beds were comfortable, great air conditioning and lots of storage space.

Our room was quite near the dining area and it was quite loud early in the morning even though breakfast wasn't served until 8. Not sure what you could do to change this - it's just an observation. The shower head was a bit difficult to control in our room (10). Might be worth having a look at but not a major issue and was usable.

simple and nice, "home" feeling

The location was nice, it was very conveniant. The room was enough for us, a clean place to be at the end of the day. The attention from the staff was great- at breakfast (who was nice and simple) and at the dest to help us plan the trip. They helped us to get there during the night.

They weren't always at the desk so the communication was limited. The bathroom was a little humide.

A great surprise

I had a fantastic stay at Buonarroti. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was comfortable and bigger than I had expected. The location is excellent too if you arrive at Termini and do not want to be too far away from the city centre. I'll definitely consider staying there again next time I'm in Rome.

Breakfast was very Italian (meaning neither varied nor healthy.)

A handy hotel to stay at if passing through Rome.

Very convenient for Termini Station - ten minutes max on foot. Both a friendly receptionist and the lady who provided breakfast. Enough space to put all my things.

I found my mattress uncomfortable; the blanket on the bed was covered in bits of fluff; my room overlooked a main road, so was noisy.

Solid budget-friendly option, lovely staff & good location :)

I spent 6 nights here in early May 2023 as a young woman travelling solo, and I felt totally safe here. The staff were all really lovely and helpful. The location was great, easy to get to from Roma Termini and two minute walk down the road from a metro station (Vittorio Emanuele), so it super convenient to get around! The room & bathroom were a decent size, though would be a tight fit for two people each with big suitcases. There was also a little fridge in the room (yay!). Breakfast is pretty simple - pastry, pre-packaged toast & jam, tea/coffee/juice.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Never before had the urge to double check I was actually sleeping on a mattress & not just a thick blanket over a wooden plank. Though, after a couple of nights I got used to it so it really wasn't the end of the world. If you need an extra comfy bed to be able to sleep, I would avoid this hotel (but that applies to most budget-friendly hotels in my experience). The shower had pretty pathetic water pressure, but it did the job & the sink was a good size so I could wash my hair in the sink instead. Would have loved if a kettle was available, even if it was just a shared one in the breakfast room.

A very pleasant stay, with a kind host and a good central location for sightseeing.

Federico was very welcoming. We expected tea making facilities in the room, but there weren't any. However, he quickly got cups and a kettle for us and also lent me a phone charger. Being in Rome, no street are quiet, but the room is double-glazed and shut out a lot of the noise. The overriding positive was the location of the place and the kindness and helpfulness of Federico. The lift was a big bonus! For the price, it was good value for money.

The breakfast was as expected although not very exciting. The room was small and could do with a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom could do with updating.
